Counselling
What is Counselling?
Counselling can provide a safe place where you can explore your feelings and make better sense of what is troubling you, and to help you to come to terms with or deal with issues that are causing you discomfort or concern. With the respectful support of your therapist, you can explore these difficulties and overcome the problems that are thwarting your personal development and progress, helping you to gain an insight into your problems whilst you discover a way forward. In counselling, the therapist can facilitate your personal growth and relationships by allowing you to openly explore and utilise your own strengths and personal identity.
Counselling can help with:
- Coping with bereavement, traumatic loss or loss through relationship breakdown
- Coping with redundancy
- Enabling you to come to terms with past hurts or rejection
